The CyberPro2000 is the industry's first desktop 128/64-bit multimedia Internet/PC TV and video conferencing accelerator with integrated TV encoder for set-top PCs, NC, and PowerMacs. Its NTSC/PAL TV output incorporates patented flicker-free technology with 640x480 output to NTSC and 800x600/640x480 output to PAL TV.
The CyberPro2000 can interface to x86 and RISC processors through a PCI bus, memory-mapped I/O, and registers, and can support Open Firmware. It also integrates a 200 MHz RAMDAC and dual programmable clock that can support up to 1600x1200x75 MHz.
The CyberPro2000 can support VBI, intercast, teletext, and closed captioned video data as well as CCIR601(RGB and YUV formats) and CCIR656 interfaces. It has dual I2C interfaces for two separate video streams and is VPE compatible. The CyberPro2000 supports simultaneous dual displays (graphics on CRT and video on TV, for example) and multiple display hardware. It provides low-cost video-phone and video-conferencing solutions with unprecedented video quality. In fact, it provides the best video quality and highest frames per second in the industry -- from 32x32 icon to Full Screen. Its video quality is enhanced by H/V interpolation with jagged edge smoothing and filtering for video capture and playback while it achieves high frames performance with sub 40ns EDO DRAM and PCI Bus Master. CyberPro2000 also supports MPEG-1, live video, video capture, and playback.
